Square Enix Reveals Details Regarding Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward Preorder Bonuses

Square Enix and the Final Fantasy XIV team were at PAX East this week to reveal some new info regarding Heavensward, the first expansion for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. YoshiP confirmed that pre-orders will begin on March16th, with release on June 23rd. Those wanting to participate in early access, will be able to do so by pre-ordering Heavensward.

YoshiP confirmed the following:

• Pre-orders for FFXIV Heavensward start March 16, 2015. 
• If you pre-order Heavensward you get early access.
• Heavensward releases on June 23rd.
• Mac version of the game launching with Heavensward.
• Square Enix is launching an all-in-one edition that includes the full game and Heavensward (all platforms)

Overall, my time spent in Final Fantasy XIV was quite fun, but for some reason it never grabbed me. With this expansion releasing three new jobs, massive new zones, flying mounts, and more, if you're a fan of the game I'd certainly recommend picking up Heavensward.
